Lenten Fish Fry 03/03
During the Lenten season, meat on Fridays is a big no-no. But don’t worry, at Emmaus Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus serve tasty Fried Fish every Friday during Lent. The reason Catholics are not allowed to eat meat on Fridays during Lent is to remind the faithful that Jesus died on a Friday. Jesus gave up His body (His flesh), and Catholics refrain from consuming flesh to attain greater communion with Christ
